In accordance with Google Play developer policies and privacy standards, you have the right to permanently delete your SparkPrep user account and all associated personal and study data.
Option 1: In-App Instant Deletion (Fastest)
If you have the SparkPrep app installed on your device, you can delete your account instantly:
Open the SparkPrep app.
Tap the Settings gear icon in the top header.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account.
Review the warning, type DELETE into the confirmation field, and tap Confirm Delete.
Your account, authentication record, quiz history, answers, and flagged items are permanently erased from our cloud servers immediately.
⚠️ Important Notice on Purchases: Purchases are tied to this account and cannot be restored to a new account, even with the same email.
Option 2: Web Deletion Request (Without the App)
If you uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can request account deletion via email:
Send an email to support@sparkprep.ca from the email address linked to your SparkPrep account.
Subject line:Account Deletion Request
Please state that you wish to delete your account and all associated data.
Authentication Account: Your Supabase user account, login credentials, and user UUID.
Personal Profile: Your display name, email address, and profile photo URL.
Study & Progress History: All recorded quiz answers, test scores, completion timestamps, and mastery calculations.
Flagged Questions: All bookmarks and notes saved in your Hard Questions drill set.
Entitlement Records: Your active app tier association is deleted.
What Data is Retained (and Why)?
Question Reports & Feedback: Issue reports and content feedback you submitted are preserved completely anonymously (your reporter ID and email are permanently detached and erased) to maintain question bank quality and fix exam errors.
Anonymous Financial Records: Anonymous financial purchase tokens in Google Play and RevenueCat are retained solely for tax compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. These records do not contain personal contact information or learning activity once your user ID is purged.
Processing Timeline
In-app deletion: Immediate (instantaneous deletion via secure cloud function).
Email requests: Processed within 3 business days of identity verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been purged.
